Seoul, South Korea Travel Series: Part 4
Saturday, March 21, 2020Day 6: Last Day in Seoul
GARDEN OF MORNING CALM
As with any other vacations, the depressing part is always the last day. But, to uplift our spirits, we saved some of the best destinations for last. Our third to the last stop is The Garden of Morning Calm which is almost an hour drive away from downtown Seoul. But, seeing it for the first time was worth all the effort.
This place has its way of caressing your soul and gives the gentle calmness that everyone deserves.
And of course we found two K-drama shooting locations here too!
SHE WAS PRETTY
LOVE IN THE MOONLIGHT
NAMI ISLAND
We could say that Nami Island is the most visited attraction in SK. Despite this half-moon shaped isle being situated more than 50 km. from downtown Seoul, this place is brimming with tourists all year-round.Here's our ferry ride going to Nami Island:
...after a few minutes, Welcome to Nami Island!
And who wouldn't fall in love with these beautiful tree lined roads
...and why not enjoy a bicycle ride?
It is also one of the shooting location of WINTER SONATA.
There are just tons to see and do here. Spending just a couple of hours wouldn't suffice to get enough of Nami Island.
PETITE FRANCE
For our last hurrah, we went to the colorful Petite France, a French-inspired theme park. If you've watched the K-drama, MY LOVE FROM THE STAR, then this place is surely familiar.Say hi to Little Prince!
The Amphitheater
A quick travel to the past via the Medieval European-inspired Garden.
